About ARAC
Applied Research and Analysis Company (ARAC) is a behavioral and regulatory science firm specializing in consumer research to support public health policy. Our studies are designed to better understand how people make decisions about the products they use — and to help inform the regulatory process at the federal level.
We conduct research with everyday people. Your participation helps produce the kind of real-world evidence that shapes how products are regulated and how public health guidance is developed.
What Participation Looks Like
You're in control. Signing up simply means you're open to being contacted. There's no obligation to participate in any study.
Studies vary. Research opportunities may include online surveys, one-on-one interviews, or in-person sessions at our Richmond, VA location. Each study will clearly describe what's involved before you commit.
Your time is valued. Participants are compensated for their time. Compensation details will be shared for each specific study.

We're currently building our database with adults in the Greater Richmond area. Studies may have specific eligibility criteria, but for now we're interested in hearing from:
